BUYOGA Technical Secondary School (BUYOGA TSS) encourages all trainees to actively use the Rwanda Secure Assessment System (RSAS) to support learning both at school and at home. Brief Information

Buyoga TSS is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) school located in Mataba Village, Mwumba Cell, Buyoga Sector, Rulindo District. Originally established in 1997 as a general education institution, it transitioned into a TVET school in 2015.

Since the academic year 2022–2023, the school has offered three accredited trades: Building Construction, Food and Beverage Operations, and Public Works β€” all from Levels 3 to 5.

As of 2024–2025, the school serves 562 trainees (265 females and 297 males) and is staffed by 25 qualified trainers (6 women and 19 men). The school operates as a mixed day and boarding institution.

The leadership team includes a headteacher, deputy headteachers (studies and discipline), a bursar, secretary, two matrons, and two patrons β€” ensuring efficient management and learner support in line with Rwanda's TVET policy.
